Let it be woven above as it is woven below; woven from without as it is woven from within: let the threads of humanity be woven together, from the beginnings of time, brought into the world of light, for time immemorial. Let there be life.
To the esteemed guests, to the orators, to the many people of the world who have answered the call, greetings to you.
We acknowledge our ancestors from whom we descend, who have become stars adorning the cloak of our skyfather, Rakinui. We bid you farewell, may you rest in peace.
The tides of greeting flow out from Araiteuru to all corners of the earth.
Welcome! Welcome to The Southern Māori Business Network; people woven together to support each other, to bring forth the foundations from which our dreams and aspirations to be self-reliant and self-sufficient shall flow.
Once, twice, three times we greet you.
